Intermediate/Advanced Wheel

This 5-week, advanced Wheel Throwing is designed for students who have developed foundational skills and are ready to refine technique, improve consistency, and explore more intentional forms. Participants must be able to center their clay, and bring the walls up to 5" for cylinders.

This course is ideal for intermediate to advanced students seeking to strengthen technical precision, expand form, and deepen their understanding of the wheel as both a functional and expressive tool. Great class for learning how to make a lidded jar, stacking bowls, taller more intricate pieces, as well as throwing off the hump.

Every 5-week session includes:

• Expert instructor-led classes
• Clay
• Studio glazes
• Kiln firing
• One Open Studio session each week for extra practice and skill development
